Well unfortunately it doesn’t work that way and considering it took about 10 years for me to pack on the kilos I really needed a total perspective change. This is what I found with Karen, she is motivating without being pressurizing, we decided to take it slow and let old bad habits be replaced with good new habits. The secret I have discovered is that this is a lifelong journey, there is no destination. By surrendering to the fact that life moves in cycles and I don’t have to get it all done in the shortest amount of time, I was able to relax and enjoy my journey. What this means is working out and eating right becomes a natural part of your life, but if you do have meal with “taboo” food or miss a workout it isn’t the end of the world, you don’t have to be perfect, just make yourself a priority, stay committed and carry on the next day. Now I really matters is that I am able to not only get through the day with energy, but I am far more productive, clear headed and effective with my time. My stress levels are lower and I feel confident and happy with my body. This is what every one with a weight problem seeks, once you can get to the place where how you feel about yourself is more important than what you look like, you always look good, the weight falls off, you naturally make healthier choices and want to move your body.
